Zomcast Episode 16 – Power Metal and please stop with the “overshare”
Aug 29th
This week is one my favorite types of metal…POWER METAL!!!
Being a kid who loved fantasy novels and Dungeons and Dragons (Ok, I admit it… I still love all that stuff) you can imagine how pleased I was when I discovered power metal. From my first Dio and Blind Guardian albums on, I was a fan.
I also spend sometime this week talking about the “overshare”. You know these people. They are the people who you have known for like 20 minutes and you already know everything there is to know about them. Them and the people who just won’t ever seem More >
Rich, that probably isn’t a good idea #15 – Want some duck but have to much Daffy love?

In this episode of PIGI we continue to explore the masterful box of crap that Steve sent to me in hopes that it may actually have some pickled and processed redemption. Today, I present to you… I realize that it’s a little hard to read exactly what is written in English on the label. I know, I had to take a closer look too…
Uh…yeah, vegetarian mock duck. I’ve eaten duck in my life (insert “duck sausage” joke here) but it’s never something I would call a “regular” occurrence. I love a good Chinese buffet (probably way more than I should More >
Zomcast Episode 15 – You are what’s wrong with customer service and the bands that made me metal
Aug 22nd
Woot! It was a crazy busy week this week but I still made time to visit Studio Z and do a little Zomcasting!
This week I reflect on customer service and go off on a little rant about what I think is wrong with it and I hate to break it to you but, it’s YOU!
For music this week I take a stroll down memory lock down and think about some of the bands that really made me into the metal head that I am today. Featured bands are Testament, Suicidal Tendencies and Faith No more.
As always, zomcast@wingzombie.com if you want More >
Rich, that probably isn’t a good idea #14 – It says “fermented” and “curd”….so it’s like cheese, right?

For this edition of PIGI, I was fortunate to be blessed by one of my ever faithful readers. Steve, who posts over on Pirate 4×4 as “lttlbddy”, sent me a message asking for my mailing address saying that he had some “treats” for me. Steve lives in an area a little more culturally diverse than my own and he was kind enough to hit up his local Vietnamese market.
A few days after sending Steve my address, a mysterious box arrived at my door step. I opened the box with some trepidation as I had no idea how the shipped goodies More >
Zomcast Episode 14 – The biggest bands you’ve never heard of and where is my Chewbacca?
Aug 15th
So yeah, I had a two week gap again. I’m sorry. I just had too much fun when I was at the Mayhem Festival and I wasn’t up to putting together an episode last week. But, I’m back.
This week I spend a little time talking about people who don’t want anything to change. I also have some reflection on a need to find the Chewbacca to my Han Solo. I don’t mean anything nasty by that, I just think that the Wing Zombie may be in need of a podcasting side kick.
I talk about bands that have been More >
