Rich, that probably isn’t a good idea #14 – It says “fermented” and “curd”….so it’s like cheese, right?

For this edition of PIGI, I was fortunate to be blessed by one of my ever faithful readers. Steve, who posts over on Pirate 4×4 as “lttlbddy”, sent me a message asking for my mailing address saying that he had some “treats” for me. Steve lives in an area a little more culturally diverse than my own and he was kind enough to hit up his local Vietnamese market.

Today I offer you….potato salad in a can!

This is one that More >

Rich, that probably isn’t a good idea #11: Scrapple, it has the word “crap” right in the name!

This “episode” of PIGI is almost sort of a part 2 to the Pan Pudding experience. I picked up this every so lovely package of scrapple at the same time I picked up the pan pudding. In fact, they were sitting side by side and in the package, they do look quite similar when they are hanging out in loaf form.

I first learned about scrapple from my boys who hang out over on the best forum on the internet, Pirate 4×4. There are several misled youth on there who probably, to this day, view scrapple as the epitome of More >
