Munson’s Home Plate Pub – Meh…nice try. Munson’s Home Plate Pub has been around a few years now. Apparently it is owned by the son of legendary Yankees catcher Thurman Munson. The building that it is in is a little weird. It’s like some sort of business building with a shared entrance so it’s a little strange. I had been into this place a few times back when it was Oscar’s which was sort of an upscale place.

They didn’t change the décor inside. It is an old school, hard wood nice kinda place…it’s really a little weird for a sports pub. I had been in here a few times in the past but I had never tried the wings. It was a Friday night and the misses and I were looking for something different so in we went.
