Zomcast 53: Synthesizers in metal? You’re damn right!

Zomcast on a Monday? I know, it’s weird for me to. Beerchop checks in as my co-host this week and we play some music with synthesizers in it. I know what your saying to yourself and now we haven’t gone soft and we aren’t playing Ah-ha or Cutting Crew. Give a listen, lots of metal bands use synths, seriously.

Zomcast 52: Hot Dog, Prog Metal and Placenta

There I am just hanging out and guess who shows up? Hot Dog! That means it’s time to turn on some mics and have pointless discussions about things that don’t matter. Some people call this a waste of time, but I call it a hobby! This episode I was inspired to take a little trip through history and the influences of my beloved prog metal…I just love this crap. Oh, and I believe that this just happened to turn into the longest Zomcast to date…we are some chatty bitches.

Zomcast 51: Beerchop, Germans and stuff gets weird.

I’ve been threatening to do it for a while and well, I finally got Studio Z set up to be able to have guests call in via Skype. As such, this week I welcome Beerchop as my guest host. We have some history that goes back a few years. It was strange to have a co-host who wasn’t in a chair next to me. We had a few technical difficulties, but it’s too be expected…turning all this technology over to me is like handing a chip a shotgun and expecting things to go smooth. Enjoy!

Zomcast 50: My top 5 of 2011

Another magical year has passed us by. Some of it has been good, some it great and some of it just awful…it’s called “life”. This week it’s my top 5 albums of 2011. You’ll probably listen to them and tell me I’m full of crap..hey, let me know what your top 5 is. Sure, I didn’t play any “hardcore” death metal or anything, but that’s what happens when you’re closer to 40 than you are to 20 (much closer to 40). Thanks for another year! Enjoy!

My dear PIGI followers, I apologize for the long delay but it’s taken me sometime to be able to write this blog post. This is where I would normally start in with the awful jokes about what I’m about to eat, but you won’t see much humor in this post and for that I’m sorry.
